Peter A. Crossgrove, B. Comm., MBA
Chairman and acting Chief Executive Officer; a member of the Order of Canada, has been a director of Barrick Gold for the past 12 years. He was vice chairman and CEO of Placer Dome and a founder and former chairman of Masonite International.
G. Ross MacFarlane, P.Eng.
Executive Vice-President, Operations, and Chief Operating Officer; is a mining engineer with over 30 years of wide-ranging experience in the mining industry. Mr. MacFarlane provided expertise in the development of the Platosa project and successfully implemented Excellon’s test-mining operation.
John R. Sullivan, B.Sc., P.Geo.
Vice-President, Exploration; has over 35 years of experience in the mineral industry. He has held senior positions with Noranda Inc. and Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited, and has directed exploration programs, managed field offices, and evaluated projects in Canada, Europe, and Latin America.
Robert C. Brissenden, B.Comm.
Vice-President, Corporate Development; has over 20 years of financial management experience. He has spent the last 10 years working in the mining and exploration sector.
Alfredo Flores Medina, Ing.
Platosa Site General Manager, is a mining/metallurgical engineer with more than 27 years of experience in the mining industry. He was previously the general manager of the precious metal operation of Grupo Luismin’s Unidad Minera de San Martín Mine for 11 years.
Peter K. M. Megaw, PhD, CPG
Senior Consulting Geologist; has more than 25 years of experience focused on mineral exploration in Mexico and specializes in carbonate replacement deposits.
Jeffrey A. Hillis, C.A.
Chief Financial Officer; joined Excellon from Xstrata Zinc Canada (formerly Falconbridge Limited), where he was controller of the Zinc Business Unit. He is responsible for the Company's accounting policies and procedures, the maintenance of fiscal records, and the preparation of fiscal reports.
Annemarie E. Brissenden, BA
Manager, Corporate Communications; has worked in the mining industry for 10 years. Previously editor-in-chief of three community newspapers in Toronto, she manages Excellon's investor relations and is developing Excellon’s investor relations, corporate communications and sponsorship programs.
