Directors

Mr. Crossgrove is a Member of the Order of Canada and the Order or Ontario. He is former Chairman and a founder of Masonite International Inc., a door manufacturing company. Masonite had operations in 12 countries, had 22,000 employees and annual sales in excess of US$2 billion. Mr. Crossgrove has been in the mining industry for his entire career and sits on various boards of directors including Barrick Gold, Lakeshore Gold, Quadra Logic Technologies, Pelangio Mines and Dundee Realty Corporation and previously served as CEO and Vice Chairman of Placer Dome Inc. He has also served as a management and volunteer leader in Ontario’s health care sector.

Mr. Ryan is founder and CEO of First General Securities Inc., a venture management and investment company in Vancouver, B.C. He has served as a director and officer of a number of public and private technology, financial and mining companies and was formerly Chair and CEO of Discovery Enterprises Inc. a British Columbia Crown corporation providing equity capital to emerging technology companies. Mr. Ryan holds a B. Comm. from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA form the University of Western Ontario.

Mr. McFarland's experience covers a range of investment banking activities including general corporate advisory work on financial strategies, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, public and private financings, venture capital, tax shelters, securities analysis, and corporate restructurings. He was a Director of Placer Dome, Inc., and Masonite International Corporation.

Mr. Fortier obtained his law degree in 1964 and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in June 1965. He held various increasingly senior positions at Noranda and in 1989 was appointed as Senior Vice-President of Noranda, responsible for the strategic positioning of Noranda in Québec. In July 1991, he became President and Chief Executive Officer of Kerr Addison Mines Limited, a Noranda affiliated company. In 1993 he bacame President and CEO of a predecessor company to Cambell Resources Inc. of which he remained President until December 2009. He is a member of the Board of Excellon Resources Inc. and Ferrinov Inc. Mr. Fortier was Chairman of the Board of the Conseil du Patronat du Québec from June 1998 to June 2002 and is an Honorary Member of the Fondation de l'Université Laval, having served at its Chairman from September 1997 to September 1999.

Mr. Thor Eaton is a highly regarded and well known businessman and philanthropist. Mr. Eaton serves as Chairman of Notae Investments Ltd. and the Eaton Foundation. He has been a director of Attwell Capital Inc. (formerly Fralex Therapeutics Ltd.) since March, 2005, and a director of West Timmins Mining Inc. since September, 2006. Mr. Eaton is a director of Metaris Inc. and served as an independent director Band-Ore Resources Ltd. He also served as director of T. Eaton Co. Ltd. from 1973 to 1999. Mr. Eaton created the Thor E. and Nicole Eaton Family Charitable Foundation, which contributes to the livelihood of hospitals, environmental groups and Canadian cultural institutions, such as the Royal Ontario Museum, St. Michael’s Hospital, the National Ballet of Canada and the Atlantic Salmon Association.
